Venue and how to reach it
The symposium takes place at NOI Techpark. Here is how to reach it.
If you are staying in the city center, it takes approximately 20 minutes by bus to reach the venue. The public busses no. 10B, 110 and 111 run every 10 minutes from the city center. You can buy tickets on the bus. There are separate ticket machines on every bus working only with coins. One ride costs 1,50 Euro.
Covid
In compliance with the pandemic control regulations, we would like to inform you that indoors, especially in the conference room the regular use of an FFP2 mask is highly recommended, while on the public transport is mandatory.
Outdoors, the use of the mask is strongly recommended only in the case of a large gathering.
Registration
Registration starts at 11.00 in the morning on Tuesday 14th June. At the welcome desk we will ask you if you will participate at the South Tyrolean Tour (The tour is included in the symposium’s fee). We will also ask you if your accommodation is located in the city center or near the symposium’s location. This is because we will pick you up/drop you off either in the city center or at the symposium’s venue in order to reach the South Tyrolean Tour and the gala dinner restaurant.
Poster
We will help you to put it in the designated place. We ask you to take the poster back with you at the end of the symposium (Friday 17th). Posters that are not removed will be discarded.
Presentations
In the conference room, Dr. Tlais Ali Zein Alabiden will collect your presentations and upload all files in the congress laptop.
We invite you to deliver your presentation as Power Point file by using an USB-stick. We highly recommend to deliver the file by the end of the section that precedes the one of your presentation.
Welcome aperitif on Tuesday 14th
After our first day a welcome aperitif is planned at 18.30 at the event venue, accessible to every participant.
Evening dinner on Wednesday 15th June
The evening dinner is open to all participants and takes place at the event venue. We will start immediately after the last presentation with a light aperitif and then have dinner in the conference location.
South Tyrolean Tour on Thursday 16th June
The South Tyrolean Tour is open to all participants. We take the bus at 14:30 from the NOI Techpark to the Lake Karersee-Carezza (Dolomite area – World Heritage Site) for a walk around the lake. We will come back to Bozen-Bolzano (city center Kolping and NOI Techpark) around 18:30. For those who have booked the gala dinner, there will be enough time to prepare.
Please note that Lake Karersee-Carezza is located at an altitude of 1519 m above the sea level. Appropriate clothing as well as hiking boots are required. We also advise you to bring a water bottle. Feel free to charge your bottle using the taps water of the city, as the public water of the region is drinkable.
Gala dinner on Thursday 16th June
For those who registered for the gala dinner: we will bring you to Haselburg-Castel Flavon, venue of the dinner, starting from the city center (city center Kolping) and from NOI Techpark, venue of the conference, both at 19:30. The departure back to the city (direction city center Kolping and NOI Techpark) is scheduled at 22:30, 22:45, 23:00 and 23.15.
